Mumbai: Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Viet Khanh Joint Stock Company, Vietnam, for the execution of a 100MWp turnkey solar EPC project in the Daklak province of Vietnam.
This project marks the second strategic partnership between the two companies following the successful commissioning of a 49.5MW solar installation in Cam Ranh in 2019, which remains one of Vietnam’s highest-performing solar assets to date.

Under this non-binding MoU, Waaree Renewable Technologies will deliver the full scope of design, engineering, construction, testing, and grid integration, including the supply of photovoltaic modules and transmission line infrastructure. The agreement further cements Waaree’s position as a trusted international solar EPC partner.

Accelerating the Clean Energy Transition in Southeast Asia
This partnership is a model of international cooperation aimed at fast-tracking the sustainable energy transition in Southeast Asia. The upcoming 100MWp project is expected to offset over 130,000 metric tons of CO₂ annually, equivalent to planting more than 2 million trees each year.
It will directly support Vietnam’s PDP8 goal of achieving 30.9% renewable energy by 2030, and aligns with India’s Act East Policy, which promotes regional development through clean technology and energy access.
